Tried my hand at making a "shabby Chic" style card. I love these but have not made them often enough to become proficient at this style. I need more practice.

Box card

I've made several of these, but forget to take a picture of them before I send them out. They are easy to make and do fold flat for mailing, They require a little extra postage because of the size but I don't mind.

This is a monochromatic card I made in shades of cream. I thought it might make a nice wedding, sympathy or get well card later by adding the appropriate verse. I never seem to have enough cards on hand for these occasions.

I  made this card with melted crayons.  I melted the blues and white crayon onto a craft iron then smeared it onto my cardstock. I used my heat emboss gun to melt crayon ,letting it drop onto the card for abstract flowers. Then stamped a couple butterflies using Stazon ink.

This card was for "in Any Weather swap at Just Cards. A Magnolia stamp colored with Copics. I drew in a few more rain drops and the puddle and accented them with glitter.
